భారతం రమ్మని ఆహ్వానించాడు , ఆయన వచ్చాడు ,మన సాంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం అతిథి మర్యాదలు చేసారు ,మనదేశ గొప్పతనాన్ని గణతంత్రదినోత్సవం రోజు ఏమిటో చూపించాము , ఏమి అర్ధించలేదు , అడగలేదు కలసివుంటే కలదు సుఖం అన్నాము.ఇద్దరం కలిస్తే తిరుగులేదన్నాం.

- ఇది కొంతమంది భరించలేకపోయారు ,అసూయపడ్డారు ,వారికెందుకు దాసోహం అనాలి అన్నారు , ఇంకా ఆయన వారి దేశం వెళ్ళకుండానే మీ ఇద్దరు ఏం మాట్లాడుకున్నారో చెప్పాలన్నారు , డిబేటులలో నోటికొచ్చినట్టు మాట్లాడుతున్నారు ,వారి మొహాలలో అసూయ ద్వేషం ,ఉక్రోషం ప్రస్పుటంగా కనిపిస్తూనే వున్నాయి , వారు రాజకీయ అనాధలు వారిని చూసి జాలిపడదాం.
ఇంకా ఆయన గద్దెనెక్కి సంవత్సరం కూడా కాలేదు ,కాస్త ఆగుదాం , ఆ ఉక్కుమనిషిని నమ్ముదాం , అరవై ఏళ్ళలో పోగొట్టుకున్నాం మన దేశ ప్రతిష్ట , గౌరవం ,మర్యాద ! అంతకన్నా ఈ ఐదేళ్ళలో ఏమి ఘోరం జరిగిపోదు , ఇంతవరకు అమెరికాను అడుకున్న ప్రధానులే ఎక్కువ , మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా వారితో సరి సమానంగా నించున్నాం , అది చాలు నాలాంటివాడికి.

హైదరాబాద్ హౌస్ నిజామ్ నవాబు డిల్లీ కి వచ్చినప్పుడు బస చేయటానికి కట్టిన ఖరీదైన భవనం. ఇది వైస్రాయ్ హౌస్ (ఇప్పటి రాష్ట్రపతి భవన్) నిర్మించిన ప్రముఖ బ్రిటీష్ ఆర్కిటెక్ట్ ఎడ్విన్ లుటేన్స్ చే డిజైన్ చేయబడింది. బాబుఖాన్ ప్రాపర్టీస్ వారు 1926 నుండి 1929 వరకు దీనిని నిర్మించారు. ఆ కాలం లో డిల్లీ లో వున్న అతి విశాలమైన ఖరీదైన భవనం ఇదే.

హైదరాబాద్ సంస్థానం భారత దేశంలో విలీనం అయ్యాక కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఆధ్వర్యం లోకి వెళ్ళింది. దీనికి ప్రతిగా కేంద్రం రాష్ట్రానికి ఇప్పుడు ఎపి భవన్ నిర్మించిన ప్రాంతం లో స్థలాన్ని ఇచ్చింది. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిర్వహించే విందులు సమావేశాలు ఇందులో జరుగుతున్నాయి.

8.77 ఎకరాల విస్తీర్ణం లో నిర్మింపబడిన ఈ భవనం సీతాకోక చిలుక(butterfly) ఆకారం లో వుంటుంది. దీనిలో మొత్తం 36 రూములు వున్నాయి. యురోపియన్ల మరియు మొఘలుల మిశ్రమ నిర్మాణ శైలి దీనిలో కనిపిస్తుంది. ఈ భవనం డిల్లీ లోని ఇండియాగేట్ కు వాయువ్య దిశలో వుంటుంది.

RK Laxman passed away

The genius chronicler of India's life and political history, who unfailingly brought millions of readers the gift of a chuckle every day, is no more.

R K Laxman, the country's best-known cartoonist, passed away on the evening of January 26, at the Dinanath Mangeshkar hospital in Pune, where he was on life support for the past few days. He was 93.

Born in 1921 in Mysore, Laxman had no formal training in cartooning but the work he put out over decades was sheer genius.

The Constitution was passed by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 but was adopted on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, completing the country's transition toward becoming an independent republic. 26 January was selected for this purpose because it was this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress.

The 119th birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is being observed today.

Subash Chandra Bose fondly called as 'NETAJI' is the true leader of the Indian Freedom Struggle, who always advocated for unconditional Independence for India unlike the Indian National Congress which wanted freedom in phases till the historic Lahore Congress convention. Bose had been a leader of the younger, radical, wing of the Indian National Congress in the late 1920s and 1930s, rising to become Congress President in 1938 and 1939. However, he was ousted from Congress leadership positions in 1939 following differences with Gandhi and the Congress high command. 
He established a separate political party, the All India Forward Bloc and continued to call for the full and immediate independence of India from British rule. He was imprisoned by the British authorities eleven times.He was subsequently placed under house arrest by the British before escaping from India in 1940.
Clement Attlee, the British Prime Minister during whose rule India became independent, mentioned that INA activities of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and the Royal Indian Navy mutiny in 1946 were major reasons that made the British realize that they were no longer in a position to rule India. In Atlee's words,"The spark Subhash Chandra Bose created among the soldiers of Indian Army and the threat of Bose and the rise of Indian nationalism from which we understood that it was a matter of time."
Of the entire strength of 60,000, two-third soldiers of the INA died fighting the British. But still the soldiers kept on fighting for an Independent India. The soldiers of INA were neither rehabilitated nor integrated into the Indian Army. 
Lets pay our tribute to this great leader on his 118th birthday who is within our voice whenever we salute our nation with 'JAI HIND'. Another famous phrase coined by him to motivate the members of 'Azad Hind Fauz' was 'Tum Mujhe Khun Dho, Main Tumhe Azaadi Dhoonga'

AP CM CBN’s meeting with PepsiCo chairman Ms. Indra Nooyi proves successful.

CBN met Ms. Indra Nooyi and explained the tremendous potential that the new State of Andhra Pradesh presented. PepsiCo has evinced interest in setting up mango-pulp units in the State. The FMCG giant is also interested in procuring agriculture produce from the State in huge quantities. PepsiCo is also keen to take up packaging and branding of Coconut water in Konaseema.

Highlights of the meetings:

· To encourage coconut farmers in Konaseema, PepsiCo has evinced interest in packaging and branding tender coconut water

· PepsiCo is keen to purchase jowar, papaya, banana and other agri and horticulture produce and has agreed to buy 70 million tonnes mango pulp - the total production in the State

· PepsiCo has come forward to set up mango-pulp units in Chittoor, Krishna and Godavari districts

We were never put on weight even after eating plate full of sweets and rice everyday.
Nothing happened to our feet even after roaming bare foot.
We never used any health supplements to keep ourselves healthy.
We used to create our own toys and play with them.
Our parents were not rich, they never ran behind money and wealth. They just searched for and gave only love.. not any worldly materials.
We stayed nearby to them so that they can communicate with us. Just one word by them was enough to communicate. hence we never required any mobile phones to communicate.

It will be Arvind Kejriwal vs Kiran Bedi in Delhi.

The announcement was made late Monday night at a press conference addressed by party president Amit Shah. A decision to this effect was taken at BJP's parliamentary board meeting in New Delhi. A separate meeting of the BJP's central election committee also finalised name of candidate of all 70 constituencies.

But Bedi will not be in direct contest with the AAP chief with BJP deciding to field former DUSU president Nupur Sharma from the New Delhi seat. HT was the first to report that Sharma may take on Kejriwal. “I will contest elections against him and will surely give a tough fight to Kejriwal and will win the elections,” said Sharma.

Four days after she joined the BJP, former police officer Bedi was Monday named the party’s chief ministerial candidate for Delhi, in a break from the party’s practice of not naming the candidate for top posts in states.

Bedi will contest from the Krishna Nagar seat in east Delhi, considered a BJP stronghold. Delhi goes to the polls on February 7.

The list announced by the BJP features almost all the party-hoppers who joined the saffron party. Hours after joining the BJP, former MP and Congress minister Krishna Tirath was given the Patel Nagar seat, while expelled AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny will take on AAP’s Manish Sisodia in Patparganj. Speaker MS Dhir, who had quit AAP, will fight to retain Jungpura seat. Former AAP MLA Ashok Chauhan from Ambedkar Nagar and former Congress leaders SC Vats and Arvinder Singh have also been fielded.

Sources in the BJP said the party’s strategy was to field candidates who had joined the party recently as they will be able to get party votes as well as their individual votes.

For the first time six women have been fielded by the party – in 2013 five women were fielded. Kiran Vaidya, wife of former BJP MLA from riot-hit Trilokpuri Sunil Vaidya, who died recently has been fielded from the constituency.

Knowing they will play a decisive role in the coming assembly elections, the BJP has fielded 13 SC candidates —12 of the 70 seats in Delhi are reserved for SC candidates.
  
Dismissing reports of dissent over her name, BJP president Amit Shah said Bedi was an unanimous choice and there was no rift in the party. “We hope that the name we have declared will be accepted by the people of Delhi and under her leadership we will win the elections in Delhi,” said Shah.

Senior BJP leader Jagdish Mukhi, who was also eyeing the CM post, will take on his son-in-law from Janakpuri who is contesting from a Congress ticket. MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s nephew Vikram Bidhuri will fight on the BJP ticket from Tughlakabad seat.

The party has declared 62 names for the 70-seat assembly. It has not declared candidates for the Mehrauli and Malviya Nagar seat from where Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay and former Mayor Sarita Chaudhary were hoping to be fielded. So far the party has fielded all 26 sitting MLAs as three of them had become MPs and the rest two seats have not been announced yet. Do U Know Who is the creator of Pentium chip (needs no introduction as 90% of the today's computers run on it) ? He is Vinod Dahm.He is suitably known as the father of the Pentium processor. Vinod was born in Pune, India in 1950.He received his initial education at Pune. Vinod earned his bachelor's degree from the Delhi College of Engineering, in Electrical Engineering in the year 1971. After completing his engineering, Vinod worked briefly in Delhi for Continental Devices- a semiconductor company. To pursue advance studies, Vinod went to the US in the year 1975. There, he joined the University of Cincinnati to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering. After his masters, in 1977, Vinod joined the National Cash Register (NCR) at Dayton, Ohio. There, he worked as a team member of the NCR's memory design group. While working at the NCR, Vinod Dahm received many patents. It was during one of the presentations in Monterrey, California that Intel offered Vinod to work with it.
